A career that once made sense
The role still looks right from a distance, but no longer feels like an honest expression of who you are becoming.

Courage to choose what comes next.
Coaching for accomplished people at a point of change. Your life may still look successful from the outside, but the work that once motivated you feels different or the choices ahead no longer fit the way you used to measure success. You may simply know that a question you have put off now needs your attention.

When things shift
Change does not always begin with a clear decision. Sometimes it starts as restlessness in a life you are grateful for, or the sense that the answers which brought you here will not help you decide what comes next.
You might want something different without wanting to discard everything you have built. You might be trying to separate what you want from what you think you should want, or to understand whether the discomfort calls for patience, courage or a change of direction.
The role still looks right from a distance, but no longer feels like an honest expression of who you are becoming.
A promotion or leadership transition has changed the job and left less room for everything else.
You want to keep doing work that matters, but not at the expense of your health, relationships or ability to be present.
Redundancy, reorganisation or another change at work has unsettled your plans and your sense of who you are.
Parental leave or time away has altered your priorities, while the world of work expects you to resume where you left off.
You have reached a goal you worked hard for and find yourself wondering what comes next.
You may not be failing. The life or work that suited you before may simply not suit you now.
About Julia
I spent nearly a decade at Google DeepMind, leading complex programmes in AI research and working with people in ambitious, high-pressure environments. It taught me a great deal about what helps people do difficult work well, and about what can happen when achievement becomes too closely tied to identity and worth.
My own experience of motherhood, bereavement, burnout and professional change brought those questions closer to home. It eventually led me to coaching.
Today, I work with people who have reached a crossroads. I help them understand what has changed, question old assumptions and work out what they want the next part of their career or life to look like.
I bring professional coach training, significant organisational experience and a calm, thoughtful way of working. I will not give you a neat answer. I will help you make the space to hear your own.
More about JuliaWhat coaching offers
Coaching gives you time to think properly. Our conversations make room for what is changing while keeping sight of the questions or decisions that brought you.
We will pay attention to patterns, challenge assumptions and work out what you want to do next. The aim is a choice you understand and can stand behind.
An hour away from the demands of the day, with room for the question that keeps getting pushed aside.
I listen closely and ask questions that help you see what is hard to notice on your own.
Time to test a choice against your values, instead of habit, expectation or someone else’s idea of success.
We turn what you notice into practical next steps, conversations or small experiments.
You can think aloud, change your mind and say what you have not been able to say elsewhere. I will meet it with care and without judgement.

Client reflections
“I’m very grateful for and highly recommend Julia’s coaching! Aligning my values with my work was not something I was aware of, but with Julia’s help I realised that it was the core of my frustrations. She has an incredible ability to connect deeply with one’s experiences and gently guide towards understanding oneself. I was able to shift my perspective and found ways to pursue what’s important to me. Now I feel far more centred and confident, thanks to Julia!”

Private coaching
Sometimes the question you arrive with isn’t the one that most needs attention.
Six sessions give us time to look beyond the immediate problem. We can notice recurring patterns, understand what has changed and work towards choices that feel right for you.
I will not hand you a formula or a list of answers. We will shape the work around what you bring and what we learn as we go.
You don’t need to arrive knowing exactly what you want. Figuring that out can be part of the work.
How it works
Choose a time for a free, confidential 30-minute call.
We will talk about why you are considering coaching, what you hope to get from it and any questions you have about my approach. It is a conversation for both of us, with no obligation to continue.
If we decide to work together, I will send the coaching agreement, payment link and a few questions to help us prepare. We will then arrange the six sessions.
Frequently asked questions
If your question is not answered here, you are welcome to email coaching@juliapawar.com.
I recommend the three-month partnership because it gives the work time to develop. If you have a specific question or decision you would like to explore, a one-off session may be available on request.
Coaching may help if you want time to think and are willing to look honestly at your own patterns and choices. You do not need to arrive with a perfect goal. If you need diagnosis, treatment, crisis support or advice from a specialist, coaching is unlikely to be the right support.
We will spend 30 minutes talking about what has brought you to coaching, what you would like from the work and any questions you have about my approach. It is a chance for both of us to see whether working together feels right. There is nothing to prepare and no obligation to continue.
You can bring a decision, a transition, a pattern you keep noticing, a difficult conversation or a loss of motivation. Some people arrive with a precise question. Others only know that something needs to change. We can begin from either place.
Yes. What you share in our sessions stays between us. The exceptions are when disclosure is required by law, or when I have a serious concern about your safety or someone else’s. If either situation arose, I would handle it as carefully and openly as possible. For employer-sponsored coaching, we agree in advance what, if anything, may be shared with the sponsor.
No. Therapy and coaching can sometimes cover similar ground, but they have different purposes. My work focuses on reflection, choice and what you want to do next. I do not diagnose or treat mental health conditions. If therapy or another specialist service would be more appropriate, I will say so.
Sessions are held online through Google Meet. You will receive calendar invitations and joining links in advance. Please join from a private place where you can speak freely and without interruption.
If you need to move a session, please give at least 48 hours’ notice wherever possible. Sessions cancelled with less than 48 hours’ notice may be charged in full. The full terms are set out in the coaching agreement.
Yes. I work with organisations that sponsor an individual’s coaching. The client remains at the centre of the work, and we agree the confidentiality boundaries in writing before coaching begins. You can read more on the organisations page.
The three-month partnership is the best way to get value from coaching because it gives us time to understand what is going on, try things between sessions and build on what we learn. If you have a specific issue you would like to think through, I can sometimes offer a one-off session on request. Existing clients are also welcome to book follow-up sessions.

A first conversation
If something here feels familiar, we can start there. A free 30-minute discovery call is a chance to talk about what is going on and whether coaching with me feels like the right fit.
